This is mine and Tezel's preliminary Assessment
WWW:
we kept to the 180 degree rule which was important because it made the scene look realistic and normal and it didn't confuse the audience to think that characters had changed positions.
We used good cinematography so it made it continuity editing, an example of this shown is the shot reverse shot which we used when the characters were having a conversation, this showed the audience the response and the reaction of the characters, another example is the match on action, we used this when Tezel walks through the door to enter the room this shows the flow of the scene to make it look realistic.
All of our shots flowed and had a normal and realistic look to it this is key for continuity editing because it didn't look confusing to the audience which is key for continuity editing.
EBI:
It wasn't as smooth as we expected because we had to get a teacher to help us record because there was only two of us so it was difficult to record the conversation so the shots sort of jumped which gave a less sense of realism in the conversation.
we didn't use the master shot so it didn't show all of the location and the both of the characters in the same shot so if we used it, it might of got us a few extra marks.
We didn't include the eyeline shot if we would of added this to the shot then it would of got us more marks and also improved our assessment.
